NW Taekwondo Festival: May 30, 2026 Presented by Taekwondo Way

Join TAEKWONDOWAY for the Northwest Taekwondo Festival: Spring Tournament.

Unique to the NWTKD Festival we have All Around Achievement recognition for those who participate in all three individual events, and special School Awards for the most All-Around Champions. We hope the All-Around will motivate students to develop all areas of their Taekwondo training to become a well rounded Martial Artist knowledgable in the sport, art, and life skills of Taekwondo. Students who win gold in all three events will earn an All-Around Trophy!

Events:

  • All-Around (All Ages)

    • Includes forms, sparring, board breaking, & 2 boards. (Please read the rules below to learn more about board breaking.) Additional breaking boards may be purchased.

    • Cost: $225

  • Forms & Board Breaking (All Ages)

    • Includes forms, board breaking, & 2 boards. Additional breaking boards may be purchased.

    • Cost: $175

  • Sparring (All Ages)

    • Cost: $125 as single event/$50 to add to other events

  • Adult & Teen Forms (Ages 13+)

    • For teens & adults only participating in forms as a single event. Children should participate in a combined event.

    • Cost: $125 as single event/$50 to add to other events

Special Events:

  • Demo Team (All Ages)

    • Show us your school’s best performance with a 5 minute demonstration!

    • Cost: $125/Student ($50/student to add to other events)

  • Black Belt Poomsae Championship (All Ages)

    • Black Belts of all levels and ages are eligible to participate. All participants will perform the Koryo Poomsae at the same time. Attending Masters will walk around and tap out competitors until the Champion is crowned.

    • Cost: $125 as single event ($50 to add to other events)

Safety Gear: To participate in sparring students are required to wear full safety gear including: hand guards/gloves, foot guards, shin & arm guards, groin guard (males), chest guard, mouth guard, and helmet. Students without full gear will not be allowed to compete.

  • Regular Registration Closes: April 18, 2026

  • Late Registration:

    • Late Fee: $50, automatically added after April 18, 2026

    • Closes: May 9, 2026

  • Spectator Admissions (Parents/Siblings/Grandparents/Friends/etc.)

    • Adults: $15

    • Students: $10 (1st Grade-12th Grade)

    • Young Children: Free (Baby-Kindergarten)
